The Challenge:
Jane is a kind, diligent leader with deep subject matter expertise. After barely 2 years in the role, her small team would double in size and her new Boss suggested coaching: “Jane is such an expert and really focussed on results. As the department grows, we need a clear vision and strategy. She’ll have to rely on her team more so she can focus on that”.

It requires a radical shift to see the “big picture” when you’re more comfortable “deep in the details” and create an autonomous, responsible teams when you’re more used to doing the work yourself. It all starts with the right mindset and a new set of people skills.
